Pennachio Eye is proud to welcome comprehensive ophthalmologist Dr. Khaled Moumneh to our team!
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Moumneh brings a strong academic, clinical and community service foundation to his work, delivering inclusive, evidence-based care to patients across Florida. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology care, cataract surgery, glaucoma and corneal disease treatment, anterior segment surgery and medical retina services.

Pennachio, MD, Founder of Pennachio Eye. “Dr. Moumneh’s research-driven background, bilingual care and advanced surgical expertise make him a valuable addition to our team of highly skilled specialists.”
Dr. Moumneh earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from McGill University and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree summa cum laude from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at HCA Bayonet Point Hospital, where twice he placed in the top 10 percent nationally on the OKAP exam, earning the Patrick Murray Award.He is licensed to practice in Florida.
A champion for community outreach, Dr. Moumneh is passionate about expanding access to advanced vision care in underserved communities. He has participated in a variety of service programs and community initiatives, including surgical mission trips, public health fairs, vision screenings, palliative care programs and Med-Achieve mentorships.
Dr. Moumneh remains at the forefront in ophthalmology research, engaging in peer-reviewed publications, mentoring aspiring medical students and presenting at various national meetings. His current research work involves the development of a novel therapeutic treatment for multiple corneal disorders, reflecting his continued drive to improve patient health through innovation in ophthalmology.
