Tawni Cashon, O.D.

Dr. Tawni Cashon is an optometric physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered eye care for individuals of all ages. She is committed to delivering thorough eye examinations that not only assess vision, but also evaluate overall eye health, allowing for early detection and management of conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye disease. Her clinical interests include specialty contact lens fitting, myopia management and pre-and-post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery patients.

Dr. Cashon earned her Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry after completing her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Ohio State University. She has extensive experience practicing full-scope optometry, diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular diseases and conditions. She is also experienced in fitting specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses and orthokeratology, and provides advanced myopia management using multifocal lenses and atropine therapy.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cashon has served as a clinical investigator for contact lens studies and clinical trials, giving her the opportunity to work with innovative technologies and bring new treatment options to her patients. She is passionate about staying at the forefront of advancements in optometry and applying evidence-based care in her daily practice.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cashon enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes.
