A Message to Our Patients: Dr. Pennachio’s Retirement and What Comes Next
After many years of caring for patients in our community, Pennachio Eye is preparing for an important transition.
Dr. Michael Pennachio has announced his retirement, with his final day seeing patients scheduled for June 5, 2026. His dedication to patient care and commitment to this community have shaped Pennachio Eye into the practice it is today, and we are grateful for the trust patients have placed in him over the years.
As part of this next chapter, Pennachio Eye will officially transition to Central Florida Eye Specialists (CFES) on June 8, 2026.
While our name will be changing, the care you receive will not.
Patients will continue to visit the same office, see familiar faces and receive the same high standard of care. Dr. Khaled Moumneh will continue providing care, ensuring continuity for patients and their families.
There will be no changes to services, appointments or your overall experience. Your medical records will remain secure and accessible. You can always request your medical records in any of the following ways:

You may begin to notice the Central Florida Eye Specialists name on communications, billing statements and signage. Additionally, our website will redirect to the CFES website starting June 8.
Our priority is to make this transition as smooth and seamless as possible for every patient.
We are incredibly thankful for the role Dr. Pennachio has played in building this practice and for the continued trust of our patients as we move forward.
