Michael P. Pennachio, M.D.
Michael P. Pennachio, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in laser, cataract and implant surgery. He uses the very latest treatments and technologies to help restore and protect your vision.
The founder of Pennachio Eye, he has been practicing ophthalmology since 1985. In February 2017, he decided to start Pennachio Eye to focus his practice on patient needs. Patient care has always been Dr. Pennachio’s top priority, and Pennachio Eye will have patient care be the foundation of the practice. Dr. Pennachio works tirelessly to research new treatments and technologies to make his procedures even safer and more effective.

Khaled Moumneh, D.O.

Khaled Moumneh, D.O., M.Sc., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Central Florida Eye Specialists with academic and research roots in cornea and glaucoma. He is committed to providing cutting-edge, evidence-based care and stays at the forefront of the field by actively reviewing the latest ophthalmology literature. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, presented at national meetings, and is currently developing a novel therapeutic for multiple corneal disorders. His research spans anterior segment surgery, glaucoma, corneal disease, and public health.
Dr. Moumneh earned his bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology with honors from McGill University and went on to complete a master’s degree in Experimental Medicine, where he wrote his thesis on future targets for HIV treatment. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree summa cum laude from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was awarded the U.S. Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Award. He completed his ophthalmology residency at HCA Bayonet Point Hospital, where he placed in the top 10% nationally on the Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program (OKAP) exam twice, earning the Patrick Murray Award.
Deeply committed to service and mentorship, Dr. Moumneh has organized health fairs in Harlem, mentored underrepresented students, and participated in surgical outreach missions in Honduras. He is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife and two children.
